My wife doesn't want to fish - now what?

Aside from world-class fishing, Bamfield is also home to beautiful beaches, spectacular wildlife viewing, and endless trail sysems. Although the Seabeam isn’t your typical “first date” location, we get our fair share of couples watching the sunset from the dock and seeing the bioluminescence swirl in the boat’s wake.

Bamfield is the front door to the Broken Group Islands and the starting point of the renowned West Coast Trail - a prime destination for eco-tours, kayak rentals, and cave exploring. Explore famous beaches such as Pachena or Brady’s Beach, or go off the beaten path and find a beach of your own.

Wherever your interest lies, whether it be world-class sportfishing, photography, kayaking, or just laying on the beach after a hike, staying at the Seabeam is the best way to get the complete west coast experience.

Please note there is very limited cell service in the area.
